Chinese cities could not function without migrant workers. Migrants built the skyscrapers and transportation systems, and they are the ones who populate the service industry.
But even though they can now reside in the cities, they do so on the margins, as second-class citizens.
This video, produced by The Amity Foundation, China’s largest Christian charity organization, is a “letter” to the urban migrants, acknowledging their presence, and role in building the cities.
