Last year marked the sixtieth anniversary of the publication of the first Operation World, a book that millions have used to inform their prayers for the nations. It was just 32 pages long. From that humble beginning, a worldwide prayer movement was launched. The most recent seventh edition (2010) is 978 pages long and filled with detailed country information and prayer guides. A new edition is in the works.

In the meantime, Operation World has built a fantastic website, which is kept up to date with the latest information.

Of particular interest to us, of course, is the section on China. In this section, you will find specific prayer points for each day, in addition to statistics, maps, and other resources you can use in groups or at your church.

Pray for People's Republic of China

In addition to the section on the People’s Republic of China, there are also specific sections for China-Hong Kong and China-Macau.

For those of you who prefer resources on your phone, you can download their fantastic Operation World Prayer app, which gives you access to all of their resources at your fingertips.

Many thanks to our friends at Operation World for sharing these wonderful resources with the global church.

All the ends of the earth shall remember
And turn to the Lord,
And all the families of the nations
Shall worship before you.
For kingship belongs to the Lord,
And he rules over the nations.
Psalm 22:27–28
