Chuck Weber

Dr. Charles (Chuck) Weber is Professor of History Emeritus at Wheaton College, where he taught Asian history for over 40 years. He holds an MA and PhD from the University of Chicago. His research and writing focus on modern Chinese history and Christianity in Asia, with a particular emphasis on the role of Chinese Christians in education, politics, and social reform. A long-time leader of study groups to China, Dr. Weber is deeply committed to cross-cultural learning and spiritual formation. He currently facilitates the annual Chinese Worldviews Seminar hosted by the China Academic Consortium (CAC).
