Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Laura Ho lives in the fog of Northern California with her San
Francisco-native husband and Oakland-born daughter. After teaching in Nanchang, China for
two years, she earned a master’s in public affairs from Indiana University and has worked in
various public affairs and external communications roles for community-based nonprofits and
financial services organizations
