What We Do
Understand Together
ChinaSource exists to help the global church engage Chinese Christianity with depth, care, and humility.
From the beginning, our work has focused on helping the global church understand the realities of the church in China—offering context, perspective, and careful reflection shaped by history, culture, and lived faith. As the Chinese church has grown in depth, diversity, and global presence, our posture has also deepened. We no longer stand outside, looking in; instead, we walk alongside the Chinese church and invite the global church into shared reflection and collective discernment.
Collaborate as Partners
At the heart of ChinaSource is a commitment to relational partnership. We seek to hold space for diverse voices and serve as a bridge between the church in China, the Chinese diaspora, and the global church—fostering dialogue, mutual learning, and collaboration across cultures and contexts.
We amplify Chinese Christian voices and serve as a bridge between believers in China and the global church. We foster dialogue and encourage collaboration between Chinese and non-Chinese Christians. ChinaSource also has a fruitful history of helping to connect partnership bridges to highways featuring actionable kingdom discipleship.

Our website supports this shared ministry by providing a space for listening and reflection. It is a place to explore how faith is lived across cultural, historical, and political settings—not to tell people what to think, but to accompany churches, leaders, and practitioners as they seek to respond faithfully.

We offer a trusted space where complexity is acknowledged and difficult questions can be engaged honestly, so that shared understanding may lead to faithful presence and the advance of God’s kingdom.
