如今，幾乎每天都有關於人工智慧（AI）進展，以及政府、企業和個人採用AI的新消息。同時，也有越來越多報導提醒我們AI未來可能帶來的影響，包括工作機會的流失、進入司法程序的AI幻覺問題、對內容創作者的衝擊，以及不受限制的AI代理程式（AI agents）所帶來的危險。 在我最近一次前往中國的旅程中，令我印象最深刻、最常體驗到且感受深刻的事之ㄧ，就是AI幾乎滲透到各種互動與交易的每一個層面。雖然美國或許在日益強大的AI引擎與模型方面處於領先地位，但中國似乎在將AI融入生活、並廣泛採用與接受「AI 賦能」的生活方式上走在前頭。這種高度的興趣與採用程度，也體現在我接觸過的中國基督徒身上。ㄧ些中國基督教機構已開始將AI嵌入其內部運作以及對外事工之中。 這期以人工智慧（AI）為主題的《華源期刊》在此關鍵時刻出版——人們正在權衡AI帶來的實際益處，以及伴隨每項新技術而來的倫理與神學議題。我特別認同其中一個觀點：AI就像一面鏡子，既放大我們作為人類的德性，同時也放大我們的惡性。我們已經開始看到與此相關的問題，例如讓社群媒體成為「同溫層回音室」的AI演算法，或AI輔助的駭客攻擊，讓我們的網路生活變得更不安全。 除了探討倫理與神學議題外，本期《華源期刊》還提供了實際的建議，幫助讀者思考如何適當地使用AI、如何探索AI能在哪些方面加速並擴展個人及組織的成就，並提供一些入門AI工具的參考資源。 從「AI能如何協助我們實踐大使命」這個問題出發，亦是非常重要的視角。擁有能協助人在圖像、影片、音訊和多種語言文字之間轉換的工具，為我們開啟了讓上帝的真理接觸到更多情境下更多人群的新契機。隨著全球上網人口比例持續增加，AI也幫助福音的信息能以更多語言和形式被更多人接觸。過去需要耗費大量人力進行的翻譯、轉錄、研究、彙編及排版等工作，如今可以在更短的時間及更低的成本下完成；本期特別強調的一個重要面向，便是在同樣的時間與精力下完成更多工作的「管家職分」議題。 在基督教事工領域和一般的AI使用者之間，越來越多人開始關注個人資料隱私與組織數據安全等關鍵議題。本期《華源期刊》針對如何思考這些問題並著手建構解決方案，提出了多項建議。文中鼓勵遵循《帖撒羅尼迦前書》5:21的勸勉——「但要凡事察驗，善美的要持守」——是十分中肯的建議。由於AI仍是一個快速發展的領域，幾乎每個月都有新的突破，我們也將不斷面對新的應用、新的功能，以及需要持續檢驗與反思的新議題。 在華人事工實踐者當中，我預期將會看到越來越多AI賦能工具的應用。鑑於華人基督教處境的複雜性，以及需要同時跨越中英文語境的需求，AI的使用大大擴展了個人與機構所能成就的範疇。再加上中國大力推動將AI融入生活的各個層面，我們或許會看到中國本地的「數位及AI原生世代」在開發既符合健全神學、又切合實務需要的工具和應用方面走在前端。 聲明：本文觀點在撰寫過程中未使用任何人工智慧的協助或輸入。
