德诗婷任职于香港中文大学，主要研究当代中国基督教，特别关注中国知识分子在处境神学、学术神学及基督教研究领域的贡献。她也曾翻译当代中国学者的著作，现任中国基督宗教研究学会（China Christianity Studies Group）主任，并担任《景风》（Ching Feng）期刊副主编。
